Accuracy

The fact of being correct and without any mistakes.


Accurate

It refers to the correctness, precision, or truthfulness of information, measurements, data, or representations. When something is described as accurate, it means that it is free from errors, mistakes, or deviations from the truth, and it closely aligns with the actual facts or reality.


Achieve

It means to successfully accomplish, attain, or reach a specific goal, result, or desired outcome.

Examples of achievement can vary widely and include academic success, career milestones, personal accomplishments, sports victories, and more.


Active voice

It's a type of sentence or clause in which the subject performs or causes the action expressed by the verb.


Adjective

It's the part of speech that modifies a noun or a pronoun.


Adverb

A word that describes a verb, an adjective, another adverb, or a sentence and that is often used to show time, manner, place, or degree.


Appositive

It's a noun, noun phrase, or noun clause which follows a noun or pronoun and renames or describes the noun or pronoun. They are often set off by commas.


Article

It's a type of adjective which makes a noun definite or indefinite.


Assessment

It refers to the process of evaluating or appraising something to gain a better understanding, make judgments, or reach informed decisions.

Examples of assessments include academic exams, psychological assessments, health screenings, job performance evaluations, and risk assessments.

Boost

It is a verb that means to increase, raise, or improve something, often with the aim of enhancing its performance, strength, or effectiveness.


Business

The work of buying or selling products or services for money.

Clause

A part of a sentence that has its own subject and verb.


Comparative

The form of an adjective or adverb involving a comparison of more or less, greater or lesser.


Complement

It's a word that follows a verb and completes the meaning of the sentence or verbal phrase.


Complex sentence

It's a sentence that contains at least one independent clause and one dependent clause.


Compound sentence

It's a sentence that contains at least two independent clauses, often joined by a conjunction.
